Hi, I am Charlene, 41 years old on the outside, early 20s on the inside. I am from Ireland and a nurse by profession.

I have always loved all things water-related. My first dive was in my mid-30s, a birthday gift of a Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) with a dive in the aquarium.

Since then, I have been hooked. Underwater is the only place I feel like I live in the moment, enjoy the now, and can switch off and enjoy the serenity of the underwater world.

Approaching my 40s made me rethink what is important in life.

So instead of looking back in years to come and wondering 'what if...' I decided to make it happen. I did my Divemaster training in the hopes of a career and lifestyle change. I have been lucky enough to be invited to work at Dive Cypria, to call the sea my workplace, and to call Cyprus my home.

I am bubbly, easygoing, and love a bit of fun and the odd prank!

I am really looking forward to helping others experience the awe and joy I have experienced in the underwater world.
